Not for xp, but if you go to the Microsoft website and search for vista, you can get a pre release version of the newest operating system for windows, however you'll need a GOOD PC to run it. Alternatively you could download linux which has an interface very much like XP and comes with its own version of word etc...

Yes there are places you can do this. It is not legal and Microsoft will often make it very annoying to do this.

The real issue isn't downloading Windows XP but getting a valid cd key.

If you are asking this question because you don't want to buy windows xp and want to download it for free then I recommend you don't do that. However, you can use the website www.torrentz.com to download it (you will need a program to open torrent files like bitcomet).

If you are asking because you bought windows xp and you lost your copy. Then contact microsoft or your vendor. See what they can do for you =)

No. It is completely iligal. You can't use a fake key either. Xp and windows 2003 include activation. This means that you can only use the key once, so fake keys won't work. I suggest going to newegg.com. They have oem versions of windows xp for around $150, depending on the version.

Nope, you're asking to download a free program that costs more than $300.00. If you do find a website, let me know.

If you're trying to read a word document or other document that requires a program from Windows XP, I believe there are websites that let you download, for free, a program that allows you to read these documents but thats it.

You can buy a CD of the full cracked version of XP Pro at http://www.warezstore.com

It's a full clean crack, and after over-writing 3 dlls in windows\system32 it lasts forever with no nag bubbles and no activation required.

Price? About $30 I think. Warezstore are excellent - the only safe and clean warez seller in the world.

DC :)

Even if you managed to get a free copy you could not get any updates from Microsoft. They closely check for fraudulent copies.
