When he still had his foreskin,a year ago, his penis would point almost straight upward when hard, almost touching his belly when standing.. Now after the foreskin has been trimmed off,(circumcised) it only points like straight out when hard. I mean it still gets hard and all it just doesn't stand up as high like it used to.
Also it looks like it is stretched tight and I can see the brown scar line around it where the foreskin was attached about mid way on the shaft. He says it doesn't bother him and I have to admit I do like it better.
Is the circumcision the cause of this or some other reason why penis just points out instead of up. It didn't used to be this way.

he lost the aerodynamics of the foreskin which acts like a rocket cone. The air no longer pushes up the cone and makes it rise up.

This is a common complication of circumcision. Complications occur in about 15% of circumcisions, removal of too much skin, or in your case, uneven removal is the most common.

Many complications of circumcision at birth do not become evident until years later when sexual activity begins.

Now that is is done there is little that can be done about it, he is fortunate that in his case the disfigurement is not creating any discomfort and so far is not causing great dysfunction.

Because the skin was cut to tight on the under side of his penis which pulls taunt before it would get very high. Circumcision often causes the penis to bend to one side due to uneven amounts of skin being removed.

Maybe it's keeping a low profile in case someone else enters the room with a scalpel.
