I cannot afford to volunteer with organizations that charge an arm and a leg. I would like to work with endangered baby animals and such. I can only work during the summer break cuz i'm still in school. If any1 knows of any please let me know. I live in the US, so I would like to volunteer abroad. Thanks.

Contact your local wildlife rehabilitation organizations, and individual wildlife rehabilitators. Many of them accept, and are extremely grateful for, volunteers during the summer months. Not everything is endangered, but it is still an awesome learnign experience. I've handfed baby bats, killdeer, hawks, owls, robins, squirrels, a fox, deer... etc.

Abroad, I know you can take working vacations at Monterrico and Boca de Polochic Wildlife refuges in Guatemala. Monterrico allows volunteers to help with hatchling sea turtles. Peace Corps also has a wildlife conservation program for college graduates with background. Finally most zoos, foreign or US, accept volunteers for aniaml care.
