The concentration in body lotions are generally richer than that of face lotions. The skin on your face is thinner than the rest of your body and is also very sensitive. Therefore, by using body lotions on your face will cause break-outs because of the oily contents that are meant only for think-skin areas. But you can use anything for the face on your body. I suggest you to use jojoba oil as a moisturiser if you want something convenient to use as it absorbs very well into our skin and doesn't cause allergy on the face. It's also considered a 'non-oily oil' as it derives from botanical wax so it leaves no oily feeling. At the same time, it gives all the moisture your skin needs. For added benefits, add a drop of pure geranium essential oil into every 10ml of jojoba oil. Geranium is an oil that helps regulate female hormones and helps to make the skin to improve any dry conditons.

There is a chance that it can clog your pores or irritate your skin which is why they specifically make facial moisturizers but if you've been doing this for awhile and it hasn't bothered you I wouldn't spend the extra money on a new moisturizer. You can also use a hypo-allergenic body lotion and use it on your face for less irritation. I do it all the time and I haven't had a problem, I just use a very small amount.

I, in my opinion, have continually been a solar worshipper further to years of driving my Harley has no longer helped my epidermis. My mom, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, continually took care of her epidermis. She knew even while i became right into a sprint lady to no longer get interior the solar. She could submit an umbrella(the type you employ interior the rain), which might embarrass me to dying, if we've been at an exterior function under an entire solar. And, i do no longer comprehend precisely what it became into, yet she made a selfmade facial out of milk and oatmeal.I do use a solar exhibit screen now, however the experts say the wear is already executed. And, I moisturize, so I do have soft epidermis.

It depends on what kind of lotion it is or how sensitive your skin is. Some lotions tend to irritate the skin from some harmful chemicals. (fragrance lotions) causing your skin to break out. I use Clinique lotion for my face to keep from breaking out.

The skin of your face and body are very different...so they need different types of lotions. Body lotion are very heavyly formulated...n face one are light,so that the lotion doesnt clog the fine pores<
So its better u just use different lotion for your face.

I do it all the time too, with no ill affect. Some fragrances may irritate your face, which could be more sensitive than your arms or legs, but if the kind you use doesn't bother your skin, then continue with what you've been doing.

well..you shouldn't, because body lotion is fragrant and 2...
it is oily and will cause you to get pimples... so in my perspective.. don't do it... i used to when I was young but I got really bad pimples... so cut the body lotion and go for face creams.. if you like the scents.. go for scented face creams...

not really harm, but body lotion is more oily than facial lotion, so it can cause clogged pores and stuff
