I was wondering if you can be any age with parents permission. Like possibly 14 or 15.

most places require you to be 16 with a parent's permission. 18 without.

I think the age alot of places here in Florida with a parents permission(in Person) is 16. Its 18 without a parents permission.
Just be sure you reallly want one and where you want it and what you want there. They are forever!
Try a Henna tattoo first to see if you like it and then go for the real thing.

Most places still won't take you if your that young! Even if you have your parent and a police officer with you! They take you when your 18 and up! SO just wait until your 18 to get a legal tattoo! Don't trust anyone that would do it with out the parent or even with the parent! anything can happen! if you try to go back and complain they will act as if they don't know you! I have seen it happen to a couple of my friends! So i waited until I was 21 for that reason and my own personal reasons! Also don't get a tattoo done at anyone's house! they need a separated area that need to be totally sterilized and sanitary! you can't do that at anyone's house the right way!

18. You can be younger but you will need a parents permission slip. 18 is the legal age in all states. Good luck have fun.

Depends on where you live. Most respectable places in Illinois won't want to risk tattooing someone under age, even with parents permission, because they can risk loosing their shop.

I believe it depends on the state and if the parlor follows the rules... Where I live it is 18 regardless if you have parents permission.

I know this is not the answer you are looking for but...

Why would you even want to get a tattoo at your age?

You don't know who you are yet and if you do you're not the same person you’re going to be in 10 years and certainly not the same person you are going to be in 20 or 30.

I don’t know anyone that’s over 40 that is proud of their tattoo.

Realize as well that tattoos are a fad, like hula-hoops, pompadours and Harleys. (Do a Google.)
