This is going to sound like a mom, but...
When you do your own homework, it will improve your critical thinking skills as well as your writing skills. Take time to write this essay 15 minutes at a time - in other words break it up into one paragraph at a time. You can do it!
P.S. A couple suggestions to get you going....
Write about how/what singing makes you think and feel. Write about its impact on others.
