It has nothing to do with church, but a one on one "spiritual" relationship with God! Most people go to church every Sunday to worship together with the rest of the body of Christ, but if you don't have the "connection" or the "Spiritual" acceptance from your heart.. what is a Sunday?.. You are saved by Grace, not by Church... Read the New Testament; like Matthew, 1Corinthians, Ephesians, etc.. When you read the word and connect with God through his word, that is when you can begin to understand. AS God to guide you as you read his word.. Ask God that question too. God so loved the world that he gave his only son, he who receives/accepts his son, by word/heart, will have eternal life.. and hopefully, you would want to repent from your sins because.... as you read in the book of James; a double minded person won't get too far with God. Blessings..

going to church helps in ones salvation, if it wasn't important then jesus wouldn't have founded a church and created a new covenant with his people. going on sunday and messing up the rest of the week is foolish and not everybody does that. going on sunday helps you spiritually and you should attend church as often as you can, even if it is for prayer and reflection, not just one day you set aside to fulfill some obligation even though attending church is not an obligation.

No,

But not going to Church on Sunday and doing bad things would be worse.

At least if you go on Sunday, you are making an attempt, one day, you may just change your ways on Monday.

Peace!

Nope! Going to Church is works of Righteousness. And we know according to the Apostle Paul, that its not by works that we are saved. First we must look into the individual going to church on Sunday, and living a life of sin on Monday is Born Again. As the Apostle Peter tells us - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. The incorruptible seed of God is the Holy Spirit. Brother John tells us - Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

This is speaking of "Habitual" sin. You dont keep doing the same things over, and over and over.

Why? Moses tells us in the Book of Genesis that the purpose and nature of a seed is its ability to reproduce "after its kind"

The seed of God (Holy Spirit) can only reproduce after the nature of God.

If youre committing habitual sin, You should question as to weather or not youve been Born again? As Jesus himself says that a corrupt tree cannot produce good fruit.

though Church is important to my faith, but it not not why i am going to heaven.
the Bible says that the way you get to heaven is through the belief of Jesus' sacrifice.
Matthew 22: 37-40
"Jesus replied: love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. this is the first and greatest commandment. and the second is like it; love your neighbor as yourself. this is the fist and greatest commandment."

follow those commandments every day and believe in the sacrifice!

I loooove this question. I cant wait to see all of the answers. I love it when so called "christians" condem people that dont go to church yet so many of them are more decent upstanding humans than the ones that attend on a reg. basis. Yes condem me for being a good person that prefers to not be part of any organized religion....genious.

No
Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than sitting in a garage makes you a car.

No. I think that the Grace of God will allow me into heaven and not anything I do or don't do.

No, nothing you do or don't do can get you to heaven. You must accept Christ as your personal savior because you cannot save yourself from sin.
