They are the only democratic type government in the middle east. Most of their neighbors want the Israeli people driven out of the area. It is plain from your question that you have a one sided, minimalized thought process.

The land of "Israel" should be split in half. The northern half would be Palestine and the southern half Israel.

In the middle occupying Jerusalem would be the new U.N. HQ with a corridor that divides these lands from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. Stationed there should be 200,000 man Rapid Reaction Force capable of delivering a serious smack down to ANYONE in the region that acts out of line.

This solution creates peace in the region and gets the U.N. out of New York .

Number one reason is that Israel has nuclear capabilities and they would not hesitate to launch a nuke or two if they are pushed. Next reason is that they are the most industrially developed country in the Middle East.

Israel has a well equipped army, that their neighbors do not have[Lebanon-Palestine] They have the ability to invade their neighbors over any incident, as well as occupy the neighboring country. A Powerful aggressive neighbor leaves a defensless neighborhood/country insecure

Israel although small is a powerful country in terms of ammunition and nuclear armaments. Israel share the market for the state-of-the-art and modern military technologies. What more could you ask for?

Although it's a small country is the only country in the world who refuses to apply more than 70 UN resolution,refuses to end the illegal occupation of Palestine,of lands in Lebanon and Syria...
