should i be upset that my kids are changing xmas traditions?

after 7 years of having new years at my place i was told last night that 1 of my sons (26)is going somewhere else also my other son(24) no longer wants to celebrate xmas no presents cos too expensive but wastes money on everything else

cortrect me if im wrong but ive always put my family first second and third and your family is family forever also dont you think they left it a bit late 4 me to do n e thing else

your sons are grown men. you can be upset, you can tell them how upsetting these changes are but don't make them feel guilty about it. i am 30 and i don't spend my new years with my parents either. it supposed to be a really fun night to go out with your friends. as for your 24 year old son, teach him a lesson by telling everyone not to get him any presents for christmas. that will teach him
