Do what you want.
How do nondenominationalist churches, each with their own distinct theology, and often boast that they are “separated from any denomination,” obey God’s command that Christians “all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment” (1 Cor. 1:10)?
Where in the bible does it say anyone can start their own church separate and apart from the one Jesus founded?
Hebrews 13:17 says, "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you."
What is the expiration date of this verse?
Jesus said that the unity of Christians would be objective evidence to the world that He had been sent by God (John 17:20-23). How can the world see an invisible "unity" that exists only in the hearts of believers?

Sure it is easier to listen to. The bible describes this as getting our ears tickled... with untruth. It usually is more laid back and I tell you why. Since they preach denomination truths, they stay mainonly on the love of Jesus, and its all warm and fuzzy, and we all love that.
But, is that how Jesus preached. ??? NO. He went to ppl in diffferent villages and He preached truth, one hundred percent, and He did not tiptoe. He did it in love, but BOLDLY. Named sin as sin, and said to stop it repent and turn away from sin. He carefully listed what was sin. If we all studied the Bible more, we would know. I once asked a pastor at one of those kinds of churches, why he didnt same homosexuality or abortion or adultry was sin, things like that dont get talked about. He said, well what if someone was here that had that problem, they would get offended and leave??? OH MY. How come Jesus didnt take that approach? The intent is not to be sure they arent offended, that is choice. Its Gods intent they know what sin in, stop it and be saved. We cant do that if we dont name sin as sin. But, that doesnt mean all denominational churches preach the truth either. so much deception enters in, devil just loves it. some teach only the love of God, or only about Hell. or that graces covers all sin, even today. God told us GOD FORBID about that stuff. WE are called to be like Jesus and obey. So, when one looks for a church, they must test it and see if it is Biblical or not. If not, flee as fast as posssible, and keep looking till you find one that teaches BIBLY only, and not all this other stuff coming in. I was once in a denominational church once where the dali lama was quoted as fact. I kid you not. the devil is creeping in with apostasy just like God predicted. Only by knowing God and what His word says will be be able to not get caught up into the final last day apostasy that God has warned us about. so, get to know the full Bible and seek a church that preaches all of that and the Bible only. I once heard of a magician that gave a performance in place of a sermon, and yes in a denominational church. so they are no guarantee either . The last day apostasy has come in. But, there are good churches out there, just takes time to find one, and if you live where you cant find on, then get a group together of true Christians and start your own. God wants only truth taught. Seek and ye shall find. GOd bless you.

Bible based non-denominational churches are striving to get back to the first century church. They are back to the basics, without all the rules and regulations imposed on us by denominational churches.
My church is very laid back. I wear jeans and tennis shoes and sweatshirts. Our worship team is very upbeat, playing the modern Christian songs.
I find in a non-denominational church, the people are more genuine, and mostly regular families, alot of blue collar workers.
I pray you find the church you are looking for. Get on the internet, and you will find alot of sites that will give you what you need.

There is only one true church the catholic church(notice the small "c" see source). denominations tend to focus on the differences between the denomination ratheer than on the true purpose for worship. The universal, catholic, church is the body of ALL believes regardless of denomination. Every service is different and each person desires to worship God in the way they feel best. There are good and bad both in denominational and in non-denominational churches. Visit several and choose for yourself, let God speak to you as you pray about it.
Bless you and Merry Christmas

Acts 16:6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,
Timothy II 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Acts 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
to hear bible preaching, to rip your hide to who you realy are, to learn what of your life
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Many church "denominations" - which means a specific church such as "Seventh Day Adventists" or "Reformed Baptists" or what have you, ask you to endorse or affirm a their specific doctrine whereas in a non-denominational church no specific doctrine is required but rather, you may yourself believe or adhere to some specific doctrine about your faith (which may be one of the specific churches but not necessarily). By going to the non-denominational church you are not going to be required to endorse or affirm any specific church doctrine.

I see nondenominational churches as being for those that are already well-versed in their own doctrine and theology, and everyone realizes that dialogue with other denominations merely lends itself to growing in one's own faith. Celebrate the things you have in common, and for your own specific denominational needs attend the church that teaches your specific beliefs.
