My boyfriend is in the Navy Air and he just got deployed to Qatar for 6months. I dont know much about where he went.

I never took lessons to learn how to play, but I love to play air Qatar.

My dad is in the Air Force. In 2003, he was deployed to Oman for 4 months, and then Qatar for 2. I can't tell you much about it, but I'm guessing it's like the rest of the middle east, sandy, lonely, and HOT! Good luck. Try reseaching Qatar on the internet.

I went there on morale leave for 4 days... theres.. Chilis restaraunt.. and Burger King.... Subway. Pizza Hut... a huuuge mall with a race track on the top floor... everyone drives a new Benz(except troops)... oh yeah.. KFC.... a nice beach where you can go offroading.... boat trips.. it was great!
