I personally love the Empire State Bldg, and it overlooks the Times Square area. one year I went up there, hung out til closing (11:30), and then joined the mob at the Square. The advantage of arriving at the square late is that you're on the exterior; your're not hemmed it - so you can be among the first to get out and get to a downtown bar.

You can go ice skating in Rockefeller Center. That's always fun. While you're there you can check out the tree and the store windows. It's also close to Times Square.

The tickets contain open bar and foodstuff and you will watch the ball drop and the occasion is all nighttime (and all morning). i'm not attempting to plug yet there is not plenty to do in case you're below 21 and that i in simple terms think of it may suck so undesirable in case you adult men further in the hot 365 days in this form of lame way.
