Yes, but he doesn't have enough time with you. So, plan something that's just for the two you -- a dinner date, a picnic, a museum, whatever you will both enjoy. I wouldn't recommend a movie because it cuts down on talking.

As a father myself i can say that all those material things mean absolutely nothing as compared with the love of my daughter. The things i value most are the little things she's given me over the years. The homemade christmas ornaments from pre-school and all the papers with "A's" from grade school etc.... The best gifts i've gotten from her are letters to me telling me her thoughts, her wishes, her dreams, her love for me. Try it and you may even get dad to cry a little.

How about something special that only you can give him? Like, a special dinner date, or going to a movie, or maybe even you can make him something that you can not buy in a store! Something that will touch his heart, those are the best presents!

I would go with a meaningful gift, since he alreayd has everything-lol! Maybe you could frame a special picture of you and him? Like a picture you when you were little taken with him. Something he would treasure!

Give him something from the heart! It doesn't have to be expensive~ maybe a photograph of yourself...homemade cookies / candies...etc! It's the thought that counts...nothing else!

You just described my Dad. We are getting him a gift card to Lowe's. This way he can pick out what he needs/wants.

You need to buy something he would like, but THAT HE WOULDN"T THINK OF BUYING FOR HIMSELF (such as something he soesn't know is on the market for example).
