It sounds like your palette simply matured and decided after eating the same things for so long it wanted to start breaking it down. Before your sister said something, you knew you liked the tuna, you just didn't ask why. Maybe it was the creamy taste, and you just ignored the iron flavor to satisfy your want for the creamy flavor.
This dissatisfaction with food is actually normal for some of us...
All meats have iron in them because at one point or another the flesh was fed by blood. Animal bi-products, like meat, cheese, milk and eggs, have proteins in them that are dead. Behind all the flavors used in American cooking to hide the taste of the meat and dairy products is the simple taste of proteins.. and blood.
It can, even, end up being not just a meat thing. For me, it was all food in general. It all made me sick. It was like everything was over-seasoned when I ate it. I have had friends and family who have had the same experience.
If you think it's the blood in the meat, then you need to back away and rethink your diet. To understand why you may have this unknown repulsion, I've added a link you'd find interesting. If it is not just meat, though, or if you can't stand cruelity, don't look at the link... Just know our meat is not good, at all...
If you think it is NOT meat-
I suggest you start visiting other restaurants that are not American, like true Chinese, Thai and Japanese as well. They do not make meat taste so robust and up-front-and-center. They make it worth eating for the taste AND for the nutrition, where Americans eat it because it tastes like fat, salt or sugar.
Don't make yourself DO anything. You'll slowly just lull yourself into a new diet that will suit your body more. Force yourself now and then when you know you have to eat and take vitamins to fill in the gaps while you resettle, but don't eat because it aught to taste good; Eat because your body needs it!
Food may never even taste "good" again, but instead of worry you should enjoy this new awakening. Now you can taste things for the pleasure of them instead of eating just because you can...
Good luck, and if possible, update us as you go! I'd personally like to see how this ends.

Is there ANY possibility you are pregnant? That could be one cause.
I'd switch to a vegan diet for a while if I were you. I am very squemish about foods as well. It developed suddenly in my late teens and I didn't eat for a long time. Because of that, I developed heart damage caused by acute malnutrition and spent time in the hospital. I also looked like a concentration camp victim.
The heart problem I developed is permanent, so it's nothing to play around with. You NEED to eat! I still won't eat certain things (eggs, chicken legs or anything else even remotely shaped like an animal, anything with toes, canned meat of any kind, etc, etc), but I've gotten much better the past 20 years. I'm now healthy (with that heart problem, tho) and can eat more things. But I did go vegan for about 5 years (and for counseling) to get to this point.
Just avoid your triggers. So far, it looks like your triggers are animal products. So go veg for now, make sure you're not pregnant and then work on the underlying issue. Good luck!

Ignore the answers that say "maybe youre becoming a vegetarian!"
Vegetarian is not a disposition, a phase, or anything. You dont "become a vegetarian" randomly without knowledge of it. You choose to become one. Your problem is probably a reason WHY someone might become one.
This seems mostly a mental thing. Your sister made a comment, you understood it, registered it, developed the mental image of a mouth full of blood, which is understandably nasty, and your body reacted to your (forced) mental input. Youve been doing alot of mental association, recently, and mostly associating your food with bad experiences or images.
Keep that sort of gross stuff out of your head for a little while, best you can, and everything should go back to normal. I went through a similar sorta thing for a while, and it was all in my head.
If it doesnt work out, then you may want to try going Vege.

I must say that if I had let my past stop me from living then I would have died a long time ago. I've endured a lot, and its made me stronger as a person. Because it is Allah's will, he made me endure all to gain something, and I've gained something worth much more than what I've had before. My faith is much stronger and vibrant, and I am more open to discovering who I am rather than following everyone else. So after losing all, I gained everything.

Ohh meat overkill!! Just do yourself a favour and stay off it for a while. This happened to me years ago with fish only and had tests for allergies, which concluded I had a fish allergy. I had been a non meat eater for years and the only animal product I ate was fish and never had any problems before. I had terrible dermatitis and was referred to a dermatologist who came to the same conclusion of a fish allergy. Weird eh!!Good luck and Merry Christmas and remember if in doubt consult your G.P.

It could be possible that you are going vegetarian.
I went through a similar phase where I couldn't stand the look or the taste of certain foods.
Try eating salads for a while and see if this passes.

Do you like loosing weight and look for a reason to throw the food out? That's what it sounds like to me.It could be your age--and you need to feel like you have control over your mind(just thinking about something making you sick) As you mature these things won't effect you, I hope.Good luck....

You could be pregnant. Or you just need to find or expiriment with different foods to find what you like. Try not to think of the gross side of food.
