If I remember correctly, Lupron is the injections you get for Endometriosis. I was told to take that by my OBGYN but I made the decision not to go through with it after researching the side-effects and after having some lengthy conversations with people who took it. I was told that it causes SEVERE menopausal symptoms (night sweats, hot flashes, anxiety, depression, weight gain). I was told to take this because I had developed some cysts on my ovaries. A couple months later I followed up with another OBGYN because I was not satisfied with the care I was getting from the previous. They did an ultrasound and the cysts went away by themselves. Just really do your research before you agree to take some of these medciations. I never take anything without extensively looking into it first. Good luck!

I have had the shots. My Dr. told me I could only get 6 in my life time to be safe from side effects. i mostly lost interest in my sex drive. gained just a little weight. Dry mouth was another effect. If you are in that much pain it is worth it. Good luck..
