The best thing for you is to get some meds from your vet until the little guy get used to your new place. You may not even need meds for him, but a vet visit wouldn't hurt. Dogs and cats usually don't like change, but since he is only 4 months old, he will have a faster turn around than an older dog. Give him extra love, he will be fine. Also, make sure he is still eating properly.

The best meal for dogs that have upset stomachs or have had a change in location is: 2 parts cooked lean hamburger meat, 2 parts cooked rice, and a spoon of plain (no flavor) yogurt -- mixed all together. And mix in some of your dog's food with it too, so he doens't get the runs or anything.

I had the same problem with my dog. Try using a great tasting (for dogs) canned soft food. Entice him by putting it on your finger and having him lick it off or you may have to syringe feed him. For syringes, try perscription diet's A/D. My yorkie is finally getting sick of the syringes and eating on his own. Good luck!

It may take as much as 3 weeks for him to adapt to the new home.
get a package of chicken livers, and boild them in a potfull of water..don't feed the livers, but use the broth to pour over his food, warmed..
You can use canned unsalted beef or chicken broth to do the same, but the liver broth will temp even the most stubborn..
You can crumble a liver in one or two feedings, but too much liver is not safe..

Just leave some food out once he gets use to it he'll start munching. Or you can try treats.
