Please, as a ninth grader you need a break? I can just see you in the real world now "...um I can't come in today... I, like, totally need a break... you can, like, call someone else to work the fryer today..." You're job right now is to learn skills necessary to not be a loser. That's it. It sounds tedious, especially when you just want Mommy to put a blanky around you and let you watch Cartoon Network all morning while eating fruit snacks, but there comes a time to say "bye-bye" to all that and provide for yourself. I have a really good question for you--- What do you plan to do after you graduate (if you don't think up enough excuses to stay home)? Will it make you money? Will it make you enough money to live in a nice house or apartment with nice furniture and have a car that's less than 10 years old? When you see yourself 8 years from now, are you driving through BK's drive-up window for dinner or at home cooking your own chicken breast or steak?

Watch the following clip from the 80s movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". You'll get all the advice you need in there. Enjoy.

"aliens gave me a labotomy, they wanted me to stay here so i'll be home when they come to drop off that piece of my brain."

if you're not easily embarassed, say you've got insane cramps because of your period. it's not like they can say "no you dont", and if you say this to your dad he'll be too mortified to protest. always works.

Based on your spelling and your age, I'd be more worried about getting my butt to school and learn something....
