My friend has one of the first ones that came out and he commutes 100 miles each way every day. He has 200,000 miles on it now. He changes the oil every 3000 miles and has put one set of brakes on it. He's looking for it to go over 400,000 miles and yes it is 4wd. Good luck.

That depends a lot on your driving style and maintenance.

Be sure to follow all of your manufacturues recommended maintenence, on time or earlier then they call for, this is one of the biggest factors into life of a car (or most anything mechanical for that matter)

Also your driving habits have a great effect. If you accelerate hard all the time, this will wear things out quicker. Especially watch out for hard acceleration when the car is first warming up, this is the time that the engine and transimssion are susseptible to the most damage.

Basically treat your car right, and it should last you a good long while.

Good car.....milage really depends on the driver and the cars use; city vs highway.....My rule of thumb has always been to subtract 1/3 of the epa rating shown on brochures to get a reasonably accurate guesstimate of what I can expect. I do alot of highway driving and a little off-road....not rough off road but unpaved country roads, I two live in a snowy winter wonderland.

Do you mean the place or the Hyundai?

This site will give MP ratings from the US Gov. (For all that's worth)

A Car will get better mileage than a SUV purely on aerodynamics. Cars have a smaller frontal area, therefor a smaller amount of air to push out of the way.

In the long run keep in mind that your have a 100,000 mile warrenty on the drivetrain. do you really think they would offer the warrenty if they had to pay out on it? Change the oil every 3000-4000 miles, do the normal maintenance and expect to get over 100,000 trouble free miles on it.
