I went to my boyfriend's christmas do last saturday. we had a good night, got very drunk, but i hardly knew anyone as I have moved ffrom london to leeds to be with him. Anyways, he and his mate went to a strip club for an hour, and he did return, after just over an hour. He does have a high sex drive, and he reassured me that its me he wants to be with. the other girls thought he was out of order. but I trust him, and he said its a laugh, because he teases the strippers and he loves the tease from them? He also said he wont be put under the thumb.

He's definitely out of order.
To leave you there with a bunch of people you don't know while he went playing with some strippers is DEFINITELY out of line. If he cared about you, he would have shown you attention while you were there, instead of some bimbos on poles.
If you mean anything to him, he'll leave the strippers alone, at least while you're around. And if he doesn't care enough to follow this rule, then perhaps you should find someone else more suitable to be put under the thumb. There are plenty of respectable guys that would much rather be with a girl who doesn't want his money than a bunch of strippers.

Hey, Im with you Tessie.
If you trust him and you have no reason to doubt why he goes to these places then I dont see the problem.
My bf has a high sex drive. When Im going to be out I find some Porn on the interent and set it as one of my favourites, I buy him porno mags when I go out, and if he was having a night with the boys I dont see the issue in going to a strip club.
Im not daft, I 100% trust my bf and know that its a tease for him. He gets himself all het up and comes back to me to give me the best sex ever.
Trust your judgment fo the situation. Most girls cant handle the porn thing because they get jealous about it.

Take it easy its a strip club not a knocking shop. If you went to see the chippendales at a club would you expect to bed one of them? NO you wouldnt. These places are for adult entertainment only not sex, its fun and thats it.
And i see what he's saying about not being under the thumb. Its not right to say where he can go or can do, you wouldnt want it would you? If you trust him, and i guess you must or youd not be with him, just take it as it was...a lads nite out!

A lot of women wouldn't tolerate it but hey, an hour? We all need a night out once and again, women too, you gotta trust your gut if you trust him it's cool. I'd be curious though what he'd say if you went. Sounds like you got honesty and trust, not like he lied and went behind your back or leaves you home alone night after night or any of that garbage. If you're comfortable with it it's none of anybody else's business. Keep it open and honest, that's a great foundation.

It depends on wether you have told him that you dislike him going to strip clubs.
if you have, then he's in the wrong, but if you haven't then its a gray area, you obviously seem concerned about it, but you dont seem to have become too angry.
tell him and ask him to not go anymore if you wish, but we can't un-gloom a gray area for you - sorry.
just remember, strip clubs are non-touch zones guarded by bouncers normally armed with some type of weapon.
he's not going to do anything with them atleast

In my opinion, its not that he went to the strip club thats the problem, but that he left you at a party, with no one you knew, to go there. Thats just plain rude. If he's out with you, he should've stayed with you.

He's a jerk and totally out of line. I would NEVER date a man like that. He left you to go watch naked girls ?? and then says he wont be put under thumb ?? I'd show him the door and tell him to use it.
