Would you PLEASE!! help me!! please..?!?
okay well i have this sore, blister on my mouth and i have been putting Oragel and another medicine that starts with a G. They really havent been helping. I went to the doctors and they said that it was my virus coming out of my system .... this has caused me to have a fat lip! I cant even move my mouth or talk! =[ Okay, well tomorrow i have a big party i cant miss and im gonna look like a mess. The blister/sore is on the bottom of my lip. Like right in the middle. How can i make it go away or make it not noticable? Please Help Me!! Please!!?!??!?!?!?!

It sounds like you have a cold sore. Technically, it is herpetic simplex virus type I infection (HSV I). Normally, it will take about 7-10 days to heal. There is antiviral drug for it, namely Acyclovir (Zovirax), but the drug is expensive and is reserved for the people who are seriously illed.
Aloe Vera leaves are reported to help because they have anti-viral activity. You can rub the affected area with the juice that comes from this leaf about 3 times a day for 1minute. It will stop the irritation, reduce the swelling on the lip and speed up the healing process.

Abreva is a miracle for those things, but the key is putting on it on as soon as you feel it coming on. Unfortunately - I think the only thing that will help it in full force is time. Usually will go away in a week or so. but do go to the party anyway - dab some foundation or something on it to mask some of the redness, then maybe apply some lip color. Not really sure if that would irritate it or not. It is probably not as noticable as you think it is.

WOW poor thing, I know you are in so much pain. Although I have never had one of those I know pple who have and they used Abreva or they used salt and peroxide which really hurts but it tok it away. Put some ice on it to take the swelling away, but go to the party an have fun. If anyone say anything to you ust tell them what it is and what the doctor said. Dont lie about it bc more than likely they will know anyway but only ask to see how you will respond. Good luck

There's a drug called Canka or Kanka that is over the counter. You can also ice it to diminish the swelling. I recommend sucking on cough drops. People may think the lump is a cough drop and will keep their distance.Go to the party(if you're up to it) and have fun. Besides,it may not be any where near as noticeable as you think. Have a close friend give you a second opinion on whether anyone would notice it at all. Good Luck!

JAYDEN, THIS ADVISE IS TOO LATE NOW BECAUSE THE BLISTER HAS BECOME BIG. IN THE FUTURE, WHEN YOU SENSE AN ITCH ON YOUR LIP, APPLY AN ICE CUBE TO THE AREA, AND THE SORE WILL NOT BECOME AS LARGE OR GROW AS BIG. THIS MUST BE DONE AT THE VERY BEGINNING. AT THIS POINT, ABREVA WOULD BE HELPFUL.

Outch!! I had one before & I tried everything from home remedies to seeing a doctor. Nothing will help. I know if you put lime with salt it will help burn it off a little but its painfull. Sorry I was not much help. Try Abreva that works good you can find it at Walgreens or Walmart.

It hurts like hell... But put table salt on it. Very few people I know have the guts to do it... and if you do, you'll HATE me for suggesting it, but it kills the bad stuff and helps you heal faster.
But it hurts like hell, so a better solution might be to wear a scarf, or put an arrow on your face that says "yeah, I know its there."
Good Luck Man! I've been there. The salt works... but like I said- It hurts like HELL! I only do it as a last resort.

Hmm...You could where a scarf over your mouth, or a really high collar, or maybe you could cover it up with some sort of make up...

look that is something that you will need to take to a dentist not to a doctor but it sounds like syphilis or some kind of mouth cancer not good so don't worry about the party go to a flipin dentist
