I read an article recently that said that some of the super caffinated drinks are getting to levels where multiple drinks can kill you. Now by multiple, I mean 10 or 15. However, it is in the realm of someone doing it. It would be just about impossible to OD on caffeine from coffee because the amount per serving it too low. Some of the new drinks hitting the market are really pushing the caffeine envelop with the amount per serving.

Sure. Someone could club you over the head with one. It's called "Blunt Force Trauma."
Seperately, I'm sure it is possible to over-consume any beverage to the point of toxicity. There was a recent hazing death where a student's electrolyte imbalance became toxic after he drank too much water. As energy drinks often contain all types of weird things, this seems completely plausible to me.
