Everyone needs to blink, whether you wear contact lenses or not. Some people who wear contacts need to blink more often than people who don't. It depends on the person. Some people can wear contact lenses with no problems at all, others can wear them but have to use eye drops because the contacts dry their eyes out, and there are some people who just can't wear contacts at all.

Yes, and if I've been wearing my contacts all day and they start to get dry, I end up blinking even more. I wear soft contacts, and they have to be kept moist or they'd shrivel up!
