YES NOT TAKING MEDICATION IS VERY DANGEROUS
Your body has no thyroid and once the medication leaves your system you will have so many problems
GO and TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR
tell him what made you stop taking your medication, talk about your options
You can seriously hurt yourself GO TO THE DOCTOR NOW

Yes, it is VERY dangerous to stop taking your thyroid medication. May I ask why you are "fed up" with Levothroid? Perhaps you need to have the dosage adjusted. When did you last have a blood test to check the levels? I've been taking synthroid for 8 years, and while I have numerous drug allergies, have had no problem with this medication. But, because my doctor monitors me by checking my blood level every six months, I've had the dosage adjusted several times. If you have no thyroid, and do not take medication, you will have many health problems and die. Call your doctor immediately and discuss this with her or him. .

Yes, it is very dangerous. Especially, for this type of med. My first question is why are you fed up with your medicine??
As you probably know, the thyroid controls your metabolism. Without your med you will start to shut down. You might become lethargic, gain weight, intolerance to cold, brittle nails, yellowing of skin, coma, death, etc......You get the idea. If you are having trouble with the medicine speak with your doctor. If you just don't want to take something for the rest of your life, don't worry. Without the medicine, you will not suffer long.

Yes it is dangerous not to take your medication for your Thyroid disorder.
If you have had the radiation treatment which destroyed your thyroid, then you are taking a thyroid hormone replacement.
Death may occur if you continue not to take your medication as prescribed by your medical doctor.
