NO, and I don't laugh at Jesus jokes, either. At least, not the ones of him dying..

If it's specifically aimed at that loved one, then no, I wouldn't laugh. I'd knock the offender's teeth out.
However, my dad died of cancer about a year ago, and I still think cancer jokes can be funny, but I prize humor and laughing above most things. Depends on how sensitive you are.

define horrendous.
Did he die while trying to suck his own schlong? That would be funny. Or some kind of auto-erotic choking death or something like that guy from INXS. That would be funny.
If it was cancer or a drunk driving accident... probably not as funny.
Call TBS and ask for their humor department. They can tell you if it's funny.
Sorry, and good luck.
Oh, and if we didn't laugh, we'd all go insane.

Yes! When my father died my brothers and I dressed him for burial. The whole time we were cracking jokes.
During the family meeting about what to do with his stuff my brother made a joke and his wife got mad at him. He said, "don't get stiff about it." We all cracked up at that.
Try pretending to shoot the doves released at your Grandma's funeral. Some busted up laughing, some get mad. Me? I thought it was hilarious (then again I was making the shotgun noises).

Most definitely not. Why would you do that anyway? It would be very inconsiderate of you and would seriously have major bad consequences (like if one of your relatives just so happened to be around and decided they wouldn't want to have anything to do with you after they heard about it). This isn't even a joke OR a riddle so why did you ask it?

just want to let you know that its not funny either way for someone to die. death is something you dont want to happen to you or your loved ones. but making a mockery out of it is out of the question. just think of the good times you had with this person and if this person was someone you hated then just let the rest in peace. dont provoke anything by telling a messed up joke about them unless you know that no1 will get mad. but i would not do that.

No. I wouldn't laugh at all. It doesn't matter if I love or don't like the person, I would still feel the same way.

If it was funny, yeah.
When my great aunt died, her son called my step-dad to let him know. My step-dad said, "When he said he was calling from the funeral home, I knew it couldn't be good news." That is FOR REAL and it is FUNNY...and I laughed at it on the way to her funeral...

it all depends on whether or not i thought it was funny. sometimes jokes are a way of dealing with the pain.
