I have no idea ... but ...
Wikipedia deflines dalek is sometimes used in a metaphorical sense to describe people, usually figures in authority, who act like robots unable to break their programming. So, a jazz dalek is probably a person who tends to act like a robot with a jazz instrument?????
scene muppet, again wikipedia ... a muppet is - A player that doesn't move from his position, usually lacking a low profile
so probably is a bit of a stage extra just filling space???

When you find out for real, let me know.

Dalek comes from Dr. Who, so a really dominating jazz musician, maybe?
A muppet is useless unless you stick your hand up it, so Paris Hilton?
