Its like my mom says, she wont believe in God until he drops $5,000,000 out of the sky for every charitable organisation.

Try thinking of all of the things He has already given you for free. (1) His son, who died for your sins. (2) The ability to seek Him or reject Him. (3) An intelligent mind that separates you from animals. (4) People who care about you. (5) Air to breathe. (6) A beautiful planet to live on.
Money is not the answer to every problem, but in most cases leads to greed which can be deadly. Think of all that you do have, not what you don't. If you have the ability to be using a computer right now, you apparently have the resources to buy a computer, have electricity and the internet connection. All of these cost money and if you were in such dire circumstances, these are things you do NOT need, but have a conveinence. Think of all of the truly underprivileged people of the world, that don't have a home, food, clothes, safety, etc. So don't blame God for losey parents or a screwed up attitude of what you think you should have. (Assumption is you are American) American society has allowed the past couple of generations to think they are better than everyone else on the planet and deserve to be handed everything they see. Reality is you need to work for what you have and be happy that you have the opportunity to do so without some one forcing you to work for their gain. Before you start crying about what you don't have, take a look around the world, compare yourself to the truly unfortunate and maybe you will see how good you do have it. Would you trade places with the starving refugee in central Africa? Maybe a person your age in Baghdad or Bejing?

Look, that's the world. We aren't perfect. That's why there's a Child Support Agency- that we created. There are always going to be bad things happening. Just because there is a God doesn't mean that He'll come save us everytime. No, it doesn't work that way. Of course He cares, but if He would rather give you a choice to follow Him or not (free will?). He put each child in the family He had decided eons ago and the purpose of that is to fulfill His plan.

God does provide spiritual support for all of His children. He is angry with dead beat dad's as well. People need to take responsibility for our actions. Actions have consequences whether good or bad.
These ex was a deadbeat. Owes me like 50,000.00 and only ordered to pay 300.00 and something a month. It has been so long I don't even remember how much it was suppose to be but I never once thought it was God's fault that the man cared more for meth and crack than his kids. No, I'm positive that God never encouraged him to buy crack instead of paying child support.
God made people and gave them a choice and it is not his fault that so many make wrong ones.

we're NOT the "children" of God
we are his creation
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * EDIT
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
an angel of Allah appeared to her in her cubicle and told her that Allah had willed that she be the mother of a great prophet. Maryam was frightened at seeing the angel in front of her in the form of a young man, and more so on leaming that she would be a mother without ever having been married. The angel told her not to be afraid and to trust in Allah. He is the Creator of all things, and has ways and means of creating any thing whenever He wills.
The Bible's New Testament also records Jesus saying: ""Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good–except God alone." (From the NIV Bible, Mark 10:18)"
If Jesus doesn't consider himself as "good", then how can any sane person put him on the same level as GOD Almighty?
I have yet to see a good answer to this one by any polytheist trinitarian.

Jesus had no Divine Will according to the New Testament. How could he be our Creator?
Ten detailed sub sections in this article:
1- Jesus said he had no Divine Will.
2- Jesus' repetitive Prayers contradicted his very own teachings.
3- Jesus begged GOD Almighty for Mercy.
4- Jesus prostrated to GOD Almighty only once during his most desperate times! This is hypocrisy by the way.
5- GOD Almighty Created pain and death, and yet, Jesus feared them.
6- The GOD of the O.T. Punishes to death those who cursed HIS HOLY NAME. How could Jesus escape to Egypt from King Herod and still be this Mighty and Arrogant GOD?
7- In original Hebrew, "son of GOD" literally means "SERVANT OF GOD". See proofs.
8- What about the authority in Heaven and Earth that was given to Jesus?
9- None of Jesus' Miracles were unique in the Bible.
10- Conclusion.

We are the children of God.
But the problem is - what is the REAL meaning of "being children of some one'
The major question is what is your concept of GOD according to your bringing up, your religion, your society, your environment.
Do you say that any one else is not child of god except the chosen?
Then of course - some one has to look after them. So the Child Support Agency!

It depends on your concept of god.
Our ideas of what god is are based on our human understanding of relationships. Most people picture "him" as a white bearded old man in the sky somewhere or something like that. They identify s/he/ it with human ideas like father for example. A lot of religions depict god as this benevolent being always forgiving, always loving... Others depict god as forces of destruction and chaos (take for example Kali, she has a skirt of human body parts and hangs out in graveyards). There are gods that take all sorts of forms, elephants, birds, reptiles, weird combinations of multiple animals... These are all our human way of trying to understand something that is beyond our understanding.
If there really is a being that encompasses and made EVERYTHING, how could we ever truly understand the nature of such a being? That's like expecting an ant to understand the concept of the solar system or universe... Or something like that.
My personal belief is that EVERYTHING is god. This includes me, you, the keyboard I am typing on, the trees outside, the rocks, water, the stars... That angry lady in the grocery store... that deer on the side of the road... the ants eating the deer... Ghandi, Osama Bin Laden... Your bowl of soup... You get the idea. Everything is an infinite expression of a "being" so great, we can't actually understand it. Kind of like being just one cell in a human body we all do our part in being and expressing the whole.
You can try to judge "god". You can be angry with s/he/ it. These feelings are just disappointment due to you feeling like your concept of god is not being met. But any of those things you wish god to be IS. It’s already out there. It’s inside YOU. I say WE are the ones we've been waiting for. And BE the change you wish to see in the world. (ok, the second one is a Ghandi quote, but you get the point)

God gets the blame for all the crap in the world. If only people would wise up and realize the reason for the bad stuff is the result of man himself. God is not a magician nor a genie who is at our beck and call.

I realize this is a somewhat snotty question, but the truth is, not all humans are children of God. We are all His creation, but only believers, the elect, the called of God are considered children of God.
1Jo 3:1 See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Notice the distinction, children of God and the world. Believers and unbelievers.

Humans are responsible for saving themselves from all the bad things they scheme and bring to pass! It is how the human mind interprets the situation is what makes it bad.
GOD is good and is within all of us. It is upto us to free ourselves from our thoughts!

God is a better father than any man could be. I'm a leader in my church's youth group, and there are MANY teens and kids that don't have their dad in their lives. But they know that they'll always have their Heavenly Father to trust and to lean on whenever they want to.
