I have it. Not officially diagnosed by the doctors but I essentially have all the ailments that carpal tunnel people suffer. I continue to work with but I did switch positions within my department- a luxury I had. I found that less stressed actually helped a TON. Less stress on the wrists and on myself. The carpal syndromes really showed during the night, when I woke up with both wrists asleep constantly. It became a very annoying thing. That has pretty well ended.

When one continues to work, they continue to aggravate the condition. The swelling around and within the capsule of the small bones of the wrist will eventually press on the nerves in the area and cause additional symptoms.

One or more of the 7 small bones of the wrist are usually forced out of their normal position by repeated activity involving the wrist. Should you be unable to reduce this bone into its proper position, perhaps you may want to have some help. Your local doctor of Chiropractic can do this very simply and allow you to continue to work.

first off, did they actually give you the proper 'test' for CT?
use the braces for keeping your wrists from bending, at least sleep with it on.
I was told for years that I had CT and finally got a test and found I didn't have it, I
had upper disc problems (back). get the proper diagnosis.! and know that everything gets worse as we age, so yes, listen to your body, if your diagnosed, it might be a workers comp case, don't quit.
