do you inbreed with your birds line breed or just pair two unrealated birds together this question will be more for Exhibition birds.

Need more info to try and help you out, is there a reason you wish to line breed.
To start a family line in order to breed a particular trait in a bird you must line breed example pairings are father to daughter mother to son. This straightens and holds whatever features that you desire in your birds, but with it comes dangers too, and accurate records must be kept.
Found this website which will help understand some of what Im saying.
When pairing an unrelated bird to your birds, it is for the purpose of introducing a particular trait and fresh blood to your own stock to minimize total inbreeding.

If you inbreed your birds you can end up with deformities and health problems. it is best for the sake of the youngsters to have two unrelated parents. some people will refuse to buy a bird if it is inbred.

hi not sure for Exhibition birds but i deffinatly dont do in breed with parrots, we make sure we get two unrealated birds so theres two different blood lines
