does any one know how to get information on the pass family records to see who our ancestors family was

Hey Bitsy,

Start with yourself, get your parents records - birth, marriage, etc. The records give the parents of the person the record is for. So, that tells you the next people on the tree. Once you know that, you get their records, and you go as far as you can. Get some Software, fill in what you know for sure. Document what you know. Interview all living relatives wherever they are in the tree. worry about putting their information in later.

After you get everything you can, then you start collecting more, by using Vital Records. You can get them in the town of a birth, marriage, death... Wills, probate, Obits are also very good for information.
