I was in the same situation, except, he was 13 years older than me! He was friends with my sister and she knew but I would not confirm it with her. I didnt tell her until I had met someone and he started dating someone. The day that I found out that I was pregnant was the day that they broke up. Im glad now that nothing was ever said, even though he liked me (I found out) because I love my boyfriend and his family.
Oh yeah, Im the older woman. He is 2 years younger than me.
Hang out with him some more and let it happen. I know that its a 5 year crush but you dont want to lose a 5 year friendship, do you? After a while, say "you know whats funny? I had a crush on you for years!" then laugh about it. See what he says and it will make him wonder if you still do. Let him take it from there.

Okay so first of all how old are you?because if the guy is like 25 and your like 15 it doesnt seem right wait until your 18.If its not that case tell him that you like him and see if he feels the same way,I know its really hard to tell the person youve been drooling over for years that he makes your heart beat faster and faster and louder and louder by the second,who makes the butterflies in your stomach fly around.If he doedn't feel that same way well boo hoo for him because you are much better than that and deserve may more.I personally like a guy 2 years older and not younger.

unless the subject of dating and such came up I am not sure....the only guy i told that I had a crush on, I had a few drinks and was a little tipsy...told him i had a crush on him since high school (15yrs ago and told him last year..lol) he asked me why i never said anything and it was b/c i didn't think i was his type of girl....his response (although a little rude) well i guess you will never know now huh? luckily i had some drinks and was able to laugh it off...we both did....but we still talk and it doesn't effect our relationship...
ok so the moral...if you don't say something now, you will never know.....go for it! just tell him you like him and would like to go out sometime and see what happens. worse case he says no

He's too old, has way more experiences than you, and you'll understand more when you're older. Pursuing this guy may not be the best plan for you. Please reconsider. If he's really got the hots for you, you won't need to make the first move anyway. Good Luck

start a nice conversation and joke about something and say u know i have a big crush for u and u have been keeping it for 5 long years. from then he would tell u something or he might just stop the conversation.

It all depends on how old you are. Are you 15 or 25?
If you're 15- say nothing. He's too old for you.
If you're 25- just talk to him like you would any other guy you like.Be straight forward and just tell him.
