I haven't tried it personally, but my friend uses nuvaring, and she swears by it. She said it is very easy, and no hassle. But then again, everyone is different, and not everyone is going to like it.

I used Nuvaring for a year and I loved it because I'm quite forgetful. I just had to think about my ring once a month. And when I decided I wanted to get pregnant, there was no long wait for it to all be out of my system.
I'm also small and I haven't had any problems with it coming out or protruding.
Sometimes I have felt like one is harder than others and I had to take it out while having sex because it would rub me the wrong way, but usually this isn't a problem. I've only encountered this 3 times.
It's a low hormone dose, which I really liked because when I was on the Ortho Evera patch, my week off was agony because my hormones would drop so rapidly. I didn't have that problem with the ring. And in case you're wondering, it's just as effective as the pill.
It's hormonal birth control so I don't know what the person who said something about spermicide in it was talking about. As long as it's not out more than 3 hours (if you want to take it out) it's just as effective.

Hi. I am currently using the nuvaring. I swear by the fact that it it easy to manage. I have a 10 Month old running around and its hard enough to remember to pack the right amount of diapers. However, I am reading a lot about pregnancy while on this and its making me feel a little uneasy. I am 24 and just had my first and I don't want more until I turn 30. Good luck.

I don't know all there is to now about this- but, I do know that if part is sticking out, itshould be okay, as long as the sperm makes contact witthe spericide before it enters your cervix. Een if part wants to protrudewhere it shouldn't be. I think the design is for that reason.

To be honest with you, I think its crap. My sister and 4 other friends have got pregnant while using it. I used it only to get my period back on schedule, but I wouldn't have sex using it. It isn't very reliable from my observations.

I loved it. I was using that when I got pregnant with my youngest child. If I had been on something that was actually worth a crap, I wouldn't have gotten pregnant. I'm thankful for my baby.
