I am trying to enlarge the photo to 20 x 30 with a white boarder an inch around the entire photo. I use photoshop elements and do know use most of the functions. My printer can't add the boarder, so it needs to be added on the digital print. I know how to go into image size and increase or decrease he size, but I am not sure how to add the boarder evenly around the pic

1-from image size,change the 5.966 to 20
2-crop it to 20x30,and open the image size again to be sure.
3-be sure that the background color is white, then open the canvas size and write in it 21x31
4-now you have a picture of 21x31 with white frame
5-in photoshop, when the image is smaller than the paper,it will be printed in its center and with white area around it

First Resize and Crop your photo to 20x30 inches with Resolution of 300 pixels per inch (ppi).

Select the expanded pic and click Edit/Copy.

Click File/New.

You will get a screen that asks you the size and resolution of the new file. Choose 21x31 inches and 300 ppi and a White background. Click OK.

Select the new file. Click Edit/Paste.

Your 20x30 pic will be in your 21x31 frame, leaving a 1 inch border. (left click hold the pic to center if necessary)

(If you meant 20x30 including the border, then adjust the numbers to 19x29 and 20x30 accordingly.)

Good Luck

Yeah, somewhat lots the comparable place that maximum adult men might take an extra 3 inches. yet having stated that, i'm somewhat short. i might get extra action if I extra 3 inches to my common height. except I take the three inches downstairs, yet then walk around without pants or underclothes. of direction if I try this, i will in all probability finally end up in reformatory, and that i actually do no longer decide for that form of action. So, i will in basic terms be 3 inches taller, please.
