I totally agree! Family life is the beginning of society life. Learning 1st about morals, ethics, values...unconditional love..Where would we be without those who have taught us to be productive in society?

I think to give a 'real' answer I'd need a your definition of 'family life'. If you mean without a society structured around a nuclear family (mom, dad, kids all in one home) then I'd have to say that society as we idealize it would collapse. In North America, our mainstream 'society' is predicated on the family as a building block of perpetuating the mainstream morals, mores, and norms. But society is constantly changing... always has been. Not so long ago 'family life' would have included extended family as part of the home who had roles and responsibilities such as caregiving for children.
