I bought a Thorley tri-y. I bought it because it is a heavy duty 14 ga unit. I had one on my Samurai. It was a great bolt on.

I'd also check out summit racing for one of their welded mufflers. They seem to have good manufactures produce their own in house brand.

ok . you asked for best . not easiest .. here goes . the best .. would be a dual with a crossover pipe (given the displacement i would go with 2.25 inch exhaust tubing) and build your own headers with a custom header kit from summit ..in my experience this has always seemed to be the best for fitment .. your firing order (im goin to label the exhaust headers 1 and 2 ) and the flow will mirror the firing as such . your firing order will be 152436 sooo... 1-1 2-1 3-1 thats your first header 2-5 2-4 2-6 thats your second header .. and when it comes to the cross over . try and "X" the pipes under the vehicle this will give you the best possible flow .. and flowmaster mufflers are usually the best for flow ..

Banks Torque tube header. I have one and it's the single greatest thing I've done to my jeep. They're fairly inexpensive as headers go but quality built. It picked up the power right where it was needed and a few more MPG also.

Saw it off after the headers. Its kinda illegal but harleys will fear you.
If you choose to keep it street legal these a neat little thing that somebody thought of: EXHAUST CUTOUT you put it behind the cat but in front of the muffler so when you hit the switch you can go from semi open exhaust(bypassing the muffler completely) to a completely stock one for driving late night without attracting unwanted attention(police).
if you put high flow cat and headers in front of it you'll get the most power but you'll still be able to quiet it down when needed and it will cost you less then any complete system.
