i've visted him yesterday and he said that it was the result of my wisdom teeth growing and to take advil to stop the pain. The thing is that Advil onlo wok for about three hours aned then i'm back to the pain again. What should I do?

I'm afraid the only way is to have them out, i have had this for a year now, and have finally got an appointment in march to have them out, painkillers work for like you said a couple of hours and the pains back, my dentist said it's something called paulpitis where the nerves of the tooth are alive causing the pain then it eases off after two weeks, but a month later it's back, i know what your going through it's agony ask if it will help having them out, good luck

I remember that pain well. Now you know why babies are so cranky when they are teething! The poor lil peepers! Have you tried taking two Advil? Also try using OraGel on your sore gums. Hot liquids can be soothing as well. Wisdom teeth take forever to come in, just make sure they don't become abscessed.
