I had it done a few days ago and I had really bad stomach cramps and a lot of bleeding after that, not to mention that it hurt like hell. Is this normal? Share your experience?

No, she means an colposcopy - a scope is used to examine vagina and cervix and a biopsy is taken. You need to go back to your gynecologist (I'm assuming) that did it and let them you know you are bleeding and cramping, it is not normal. Some bleeding is normal but not a lot. Also call your doctor if you get a fever.
I hope you feel better and it turns out ok!

I had one done a few years ago, and I guess I had a good Dr. because he sprayed the area with a numbing agent before he did the procedure, and he gave me some pain killers for after. I did bleed a bit, that is normal, as is the cramping. Your body is becoming used to having a tiny piece of your cevix clipped off. But if it is too much to bear (the bleeding or the pain) call your Dr immediately as you may be having some adverse reactions. Good Luck!

My wife has been going through this recently. The OB always said that cramping is normal. Excessive bleeding is not normal. They said that there will be spotting. I would get that checked out.

My wife never had any cramping or any pain. Did you have a cone biopsy done as well?

you mean a colonoscopy? It is normal to have some cramping and possible bleeding after, but it should be feeling better each day. If it is getting worse then you need to contact the same doctor who did the procedure and let him/her know.
