I was going to make marzipan but I was thinking about using it in a candy. Any ideas? Besides just marzipan in shapes, I was looking for candy where marzipan is an ingredient.

make little christmas pudding truffles
make a ganache by melting equal quantities of butter and dark chocolate together over hot water. stir in double cream. You can add things at this stage like nuts, dried fruit, candied peel, cherries and spices like ground cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger, an even little cubes of marzipan. Leave to cool. It will set to a softish consistency. Roll it into balls and then roll them in cocoa powder, or shaved chocolate. You can make them look like christmas puddings by rolling out marzipan and topping the truffles with it to mimic rum sauce.
