Have the children each draw a wreath or a holiday symbol of their choice (Hanukkah symbol for jewish children), that way everyone is included in the holiday decoration. You can glue each drawing to a large doorsize sheet(s) of paper. Of course, you'll have to figure out how large each drawing should be so they all fit.
Merry Christmas!!

What about a christmas tree made out of the letters from the alphabet?
You could wrap the door like a big present.

Simply and easy is to buy to matching rolls of wrapping paper and wrap the door like a gift. A large red ribbon will add a nice touch.

Wrap it up like a present and have each kid make their own: "TO/FROM" tags. (Tape a big sheet or a quilt-pattern of several sheets of wrapping paper to the door, and tape a big bow or several bows to the paper. You can also make a design of say.. a fold out Christmas tree on the wrapping paper door).

have the kids draw their hands on green constuction paper and cut them out, place them with the fingers going down in a tree shape pattern, roll a few of the fingers up to resemble different branches and needles. or make your door into a huge santa face out of construction paper the size of the door. it will look like a huge santa is peeping in a window and all you can see is his face.
