He mad because my ex-boyfriend came on my porch yesterday and touch my pockets. and I didn't say stop, so he got mad. and he told me not touch him and say nothing to him. so I got mad and went to hug my ex. And my boyfriend got even mader. Do you guys think I was stupid for doing that?

Why did you let your ex-boyfriend touch your pockets? I am not sure where these pockets are but you let him into your body bubble. That space is usually reserved for people that are very close to you.
Think about what you did to him. Imagine him standing there with his ex-girlfriend in front of you and she is touching him. Would you not question your relationship with him? Would you not feel that he was ready to go back to her?
Then when he got upset, you declared your independence by hugging your ex-boyfriend. While you have every right to hug anyone you want, what you said to him is that he is not very important to you and neither are his feelings.
In a relationship you give up some of your freedom to be close to another person. You need to be your own person, but you need to show your significant other that they have a special place. When you let the other boy into that place, you hurt your boyfriend.
You were not stupid, but hurtful. If you want a solid relationship you need to build trust. You cannot build trust and declare total independence at the same time.

OK, wow r u serious U know just break up with one or let the other go I mean. That wasn't cool at all. i think your so called "boy friend" handle him self real good, and you should be thank full that he's just mad at you, cause i would kick your "x" butt and dump your butt like a bad habit. If you really like this "boy friend " Say good bye to your X and don't let I'm touch the goods. And say you ya sorry to your boy friend and agree on every thing he says after that. He sounds solid i would probably let this go one time if he love ya. and if he doesn't break up with you next time and owe ya there will be a next time just let the guy go and stop playing him and yourself ya both need someone better.

maybe butt u can get out of it....are u sure there is no feelings left for your ex and if there isnt you were using him..your bf cant get jealous either as much like controlling but put yourself in his place would you be mad if u saw him hugging a girl...just let him know it was the heat of the moment sorta thing and he is the one u want and come to at the end of the day

My boyfriend gets upset if I even mention another guy. I know it will pass, it's just the effect that being cheated on several times by exgirlfriends has had on him. I don't do anything to wind him up because then he'll lose trust in me and I want him to know that he's too important for me to risk losing him over something so small.

YES! are you kidding me? how would you feel if the situation was reversed and that was some skank ex of your bf that was all over him? and then you end up HUGGING him? you didnt say how old you are but you'll be single by 6 months. guaranteed! stop the games and grow up if you think that was right youre not old enough to have a bf!

Well I'm sure it wasn't the best thing. Guys are protective of their girlfriends, b/c they know how other guys can be. Although your boyfriend shouldn't have told you what to do, you should have tried to settle it without making him more mad.

You both sound too immature to be in a relationship. He is trying to control you and instead of talking about it you're playing games.
So yes you were stupid to do it but it doesnt mean he was right either. He shouldnt have ordered you around about it.

i think you need to be more mature and more committed. Sometimes is not about what you think is right, sometimes is about having consideration for our partner's feelings. That kind of touching could be considered a sign of intimacy depending on your background.

What you did was childish. If it had been me in your boyfriend's shoes I probably would have gotten upset as well.
