Yup... It's not pretty and it's not polite, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do to keep from choking.

Yup i do, i find it easier to chew this way, and it usually tastes nice! if its a cold drink then it comes in handy when i'm eating a piping hot cheese and onion pasty (i love it so much i get a big chunk and shove it in- then i realize it was HOT! HOT! HOT!)

Of course. How on earth are you supposed to wash the food down? I don't think it's rude unless your mouth is packed like a hamster's.

No I actually don't because I'm afraid I'll choke. I don't usually have anything to drink until after I'm done eating because I find that the fluid fills me up.

NO, YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO. THAT IS BACKWASH, IF SOMEONE ELSE HAS TO DRINK FROM YOUR GLASS. CHEW, IT WILL EVENTUALLY BREAK DOWN. THEN GET A DRINK.
