This stuff is supposed to have an odor cat's don't like. I used it to spray a wicker chest that my cat was using for a scratching post. She did wrinkle her nose but it did not keep her off it. I guess it depends on how bad the cat wants on the furniture. I still have most of a $17 can of this. It never worked for me. Good luck.

Try setting out citrus fruit rinds. Cats don't like the smell of oranges, lemons or limes. It's often recommended to throw rinds out in your garden to keep neighborhood cats from using them as litterboxes. Try it inside. Also, try putting loops of masking tape, rolled with the sticky side out, on furniture cushions and counters. When the cat jumps up on those he will hate the tape on his paws. Good luck!

Wal-mart, vert inexpensive and it works. But you have to spray the area every 24 hours, they can stand it. You only have to do it for a week or so before they stop. Its hartz brand, about 3.50 for a large spray can.

The PetSmart webpage is pretty helpful. They have product information and user reviews on a number of cat repellants.
