You got that right Missy!
If everybody respected each other's beliefs and "agree to disagree" on whatever subject being religion, politics, etc. then we wouldn't be wasting money on wars and such.

Simply because everyone thinks differently and think that their religion is the right the religion and have no respect for other types of religions. Though the discrimination is usually from western cultures
because not having respect is part of their culture.

i agree with you 110%..many feel that if its not done their way or by their cultural norms then it is not ok and unacceptable and that is bad because that is why many ppl discriminate against others and show no respect for "other" ppl..im a very open minded person and i like to learn about others beliefs, cultures, and religions becasue i find it very interesting and unique to see how others live

I totally agree with you on that. People need to be more respectful when talking to those who have different religious beliefs. I don't think there's anything wrong with telling people what you believe, but I do think it's wrong to start calling them names if they believe differently from you.

That would require Humans to wake up and smell the bullshit they are being fed everyday from the media, their Governments, doctored history, brainwashed teachings even at University levels, and serious study of religions...especially the one they have chosen to follow.
Now. How many people want to awake out of their warm slumber to face the cold truth?
'They' don't want 'Us' to get along. You are doing exactly what 'They' want you to do.

Youve made an excellent point! I respect everyones beliefs, and feel they are entitled to their own opinions, and if they are here, and asking for mine, Ill give it, But theres no need for anyone to be rude.
Remember the adage, If you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all? Thats one rule we should all play by.

i respect other peoples religions/beliefs, it is their choice on what they believe or don't believe. you can't force your religion on them and vise versa. no one can change what i believe again vise versa ^. but, that doesn't mean i will completely stop talking about what I do believe in, because everyone has that right.

simple reason.
because as long as you have people claiming their scripture is holy and truthful and those scriptures say that the beleivers are "chosen" or something like that you will always have conflict.
religion breeds war. religion is inherently destructive. especially the expressions of that religion.
to steal a phrase from the God Who Wasnt There documentary, the Salem witch trials wasnt a perversion of religion, it was an expression. instead of people reading and agreeing with the phrase "none shall suffer a witch to live" they decided to go through with the commandment...they searched forthem, came up with some (false ones) and killed them. im sure they were happy that they didnt need to suffer.
as long as you have religion you will have war, you will have people who use it to justify warand you will never have peace.
im not saying religion is the main cause of war. but it does cause some.
want peace? want everyone to get along? get rid of religion (and politicians)

Jesus did not come to make peace He came to create peace. God sent Jesus to reap the harvest of His people and anihalate the evil doers. God wants all to turn to Him and accept Christ so that they can have eternal salvation. Those who deny the truth well......Not for me to judge -however it was written.
