Last week I had two hemmoroids banded. Something went terribly wrong. The tissue around the band swelled up so badly, I have been in severe pain ever since. The Doctor tried to remove the band, but I was too swollen and tender for him to be able to get it off. When ever I have a BM I feel like I am going to split open down there, I am in so much pain. I am taking pain pills That helps a little.
I need more help. Can anyone tell me anything else I can do topically to relieve the pain? In addition to pain killers, I am taking stool softeners, using hemmorioid cream on bottom after sitz baths, and using a lidocaine jelly in between. Doctor has not been very helpful, most help I have gotten from others, and online. I have already been off of work a week, and I can't see that I am going to be able to go back any time soon short of a mircle. (I need to go back to work). PLEASE HELP!

I am so sorry to hear of your distress. Have you heard of a donut ? No - not a Krispy Kreme but a rubber ring which is blown up and which you sit on. They are available in a medical supply store or good drugstore. It is an old nursing trick which may take some pressure off the sensitive area. You are on the right track w/wm sitz baths, stool softeners and topical meds. Pain meds are needed - but be aware that they are constipating so lots of extra fluids and fiber/fruits and veggies may help.
Another inexpensive item fits under the toilet seat lid and looks like a "nurses cap". Fill w/wm water and your sitz baths will not be so difficult because you don't have to get into a cold tub and waste water. Also since easier to do,you can use it more frequently. Tucks wipes are available in hemorrhoid cream dept- very soothing.
Best of luck ! Feel better ! RN in Ca.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/wyNlc
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

Tell your doctor to get off his *** and get something done for you, I've run into people like him that like to do doctor work until something goes wrong then they bail.
Tell him you have to go into the hospital and get those hemorrhoids out, surgery or whatever but, you need them out, tell him if he doesn't want to your going to the ER and ask for help, that should move him, and then do it sweetheart, right now, sit down and call him now.

Calm down.....Your best bet for this is aloe vera. The plant is better but if u dont have the plant , use the gel in your stores.
Place a plant over the hurt and bandage over that-instant relief.
Ice is good too and get some Bees Wax to help.
