I always chug orange juice, take steamy showers and drink broth-based soup. Fluids are important.

When I feel a cold coming on, I OD on Orange Juice. I buy a carton of the pulpiest stuff I can find and just drink it all in like an 8 hour span. It always works. I've never tried Vitamin C pills, but I'd assume they would do the same.

Over the counter medications Nyquil and Contac will help but you must take them only before going to bed.

Take lots and lots of Vitamin C. You can't overdose on it
and it might help fight off your cold. Good luck.
