Depends on how long youve been dating and what you can afford. Dont overdo yourself regardless.
My first christmas with my boyfriend, we had been together about 4 months, and we each spent about 150 on each other.
This year, our 3rd christmas (just over 2 years for us now) we're each spending about 300. It all depends on what have to spend and what you think is "fair".

Take it from a guy, guys are more worried about what they're getting you, not what they're getting. For me a 10 dollar pair of slippers would be nice. It's the thought that counts. If it's a gift you really want to get him, the cost shouldn't matter if you feel it's right. But trust me it doesn't have to be expensive.

it depends how long you've been going out for. if you've only been going out with him for a month or two then get him something thats the most 20-25 dollars. if you've been going out with him longer you should get him something over 25 dollars.
