He sounds immature. Tomorrow it'll be maybe, and then saturday, it'll be a yes again.
Why would you want to subject yourself to this kind of behavior. If he can't make up his own mind about going out, how do you think the first date would go?

Ask him if he wants to go out with you. Then take that answer. If he says yes then proceed. If no then there are plenty more fish in the sea.
