Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Have pizza at Patsy Grimaldi's in DUMBO. The Bronx Zoo. Coney Island. The New York Aquarium. The New York Botanical Gardens. Walk Manhattan Island from around 72 Street all the way downtown, crisscrossing from east to west and back again, just to feel the neighborhoods.

The New York Aquarium is very cool if you like animals. Its also right by Coney Island which is on the Atlantic ocean. It's better in the summer when all the shops on the boardwalk are open, but it's still pretty sweet to visit in the winter. There is a fabulous pizza place called Totono's on Neptune, right off the boardwalk. I was there the week before Thanksgiving this year and had a great time. Also Yogi's bar at I believe 76th and Broadway (not entirely sure about the location!) is TONS of fun if you're over 21 and it's always great to catch a show on Broadway. Go to TKTS the day that you want to see something. The ticket windows open at 3pm. The line gets long early, however it does move pretty quickly. You can get tickets to pretty much every show for up to 1/2 off the original price! Oh, and you have to visit the Magnolia Bakery in the Village at 11th and Bleaker for the best cupcakes you'll ever taste in your life!!

I don't know how old you are but they have the biggest toys r us in Manhattan and the Macy's is cool, There is a place called the Jekyll and Hyde club that's like the magic castle. I wouldn't go to the Statue of liberty, just take the ferry ride around the island and take pics, you end up waiting in line all day and then you only get to see her foot and go to the base if you want...not worth the time and effort.
