For me it was the other way around.
I was born into the Christian crap and had to attend church as a kid.
Then when I started to think for myself (A major sin in religion) I started to realize this bible was screwed up!
Then logic kicked in and I realized Oh there are no pink monkeys!
Wow that's a relief!

I can understand where people think others have given up logic, but it certainly doesn't mean anyone who believes in a Higher Power gave up ALL logic.
These sweeping generalizations don't say much for the logic of others either. A logical person wouldn't use them in the sense they are used in this place.

Obviously logic is not your strong point and you intended this question to be incendiary. I hope, however, that you (or some other readers) will learn something from the answers.
Your question is based on a flawed assumption -- namely, that believing in something (God implied, but not stated) requires one to set aside logic. This assumption is false since it assumes that believing in something is illogical.
However, people commonly believe in things that have been proven. For example, I believe in the law of gravity. (If I did not believe in gravity and I jumped off the Empire State Building, would I still fall?)
Science can study life, the planet and the universe because it is based on the assumption that these things will reflect some logical order. It would be illogical to study chaos. If the things science studies are well-ordered, how did they get that way since this is not the natural condition of anything? (Just try dropping a pile of papers. Will they land in good order?)
Perhaps the question that should be asked is: How can one believe in anything (God included) without logic?

How about the moment that people got logic and said ok I dont believe and decided to take control of their happiness and life? I am not trying to down anyone for their beliefs. Just putting my opinion out there.

I never had a whole lot of logic, so I didn't need to give up much. Now I believe in many imaginary things. Life is good.

I didn't give up on logic. I am a very logical person. You are making a false assumtion here that belief in God is illogical. Wrong. Science proves, not disproves the existence of God.

Honestly, in the 80's I had cocaine prob and went to rehab and the educated and experienced staff assured me God is real and He wants to help and will help me if I allow Him to. You know step 2 of the twelve. Also all the people in my life who command love and respect from the very lives they have lead were fine Christians.
My life is so much more since I've let the Lord in. I'm so not perfect though. But getting better all the time.
I wasn't His forgiveness of my sins that helped me in this life it was His ability to help me forgive others who had hurt me. Life void of bitterness is great. Also I never new Joy before. I have that on occasion now. My life is more than before.
I hope I helped as I was more honest than I really wanted to be in this public forum.

Given all the evidence that points to a creator, that substantiates the Bible, and the fact that matter can't emerge from nothing, it' is quite logical to believe.

It never happened!
The Bible is chock full of directives to be wise, understanding, knowledgeable, studious, etc. Those who leave logic to believe, have disobeyed God's instruction.
For instance, Paul said, "Prove ALL things, keep that which is good." (1Th 5:21) One cannot prove things without logic!
Though, I find atheism to be the blindest faith of all!
