why do boys say i luv u and dont mean it at all?

well me and mi boifriend been goin 2gether 4 a year and one day
when we we're talin he wuz like i lubv u and all dis other stuff a month later come 2 find out he wuz cheatin on me wit mi best friend and i wuz like how r u goin 2 say u luv me and ur cheatin on wat do he think iam?

I can think of two reasons: a) He was feeling guilty or b) He just wanted in your pants.

Speaking from experience, though, if he loves you, there won't be any need for him to say it (although it is nice). You'll know, and it will probably hit you like a sledgehammer. And you will never, ever forget that moment.

Young people don't really know what love is for starters. Also he might it say because he knew it was something that you wanted to hear. Plus, the term "love" is so loose now adays, it doesn't usually mean love at all, it means like more than love.
