The Drake Hotel, NYC was not affiliated w/ The Drake in Chicago, it was a Swissotel, and I wondered if it turned condo, or what. I stayed there in 2004 and thought it was great. Now it's nowhere to be found.

After you stayed there is 2004, the Hotel devised a plan. They decided to hide from you. Apparently the did not like you as a patron and would prefer it if you stay elsewhere.

Built in 1927, this Midtown hotel was renovated in 1995 with European sophistication in mind. It is a sparkling tribute to understated Swiss elegance and sterling Continental service. Each private room is charming and originally designed, as well as filled with amenities. The hotel is within walking distance of Central Park, Bloomingdale's, Carnegie Hall, FAO Schwarz, Bergdorf Goodman and other Fifth Avenue shops. Upscale vacationers should love their stay here, as will weary business travelers.

Nothing "happened" to it. It's right where it always was. What the hell are you idiots talking about?
